Nature, Please Call Back Later!!!

I lay in bed and hear the sounds of my precious daughter cooing and babbling to herself. I think, "She is up a little earlier than usual, I'll just let her play in bed for another 20 minutes or so." Finally, I drag myself out of bed to go and get her. Before I am even in her room the smell hits me!! My poor baby is laying in a puddle of her own poop! Even worse, I have let her "play" in it for the past 20 minutes! Does this make me a bad mom!!!!
I know when you got to go, you got to go...but, could it wait until the sun comes up?????

Oh, we've all done it. She's too little to even know that it's gross. I once let Avery sit in her bed crying (thinking that she would go back to sleep). When I finally went in to check on her she was covered in throw up--her night gown, sheets, hair, everything! Ooops!

Oh...been there and done that and IT IS OK!! I think it makes them better children...HA

Oh, the joys of motherhood. Its always when your just waking up and hoping for a smooth morning when they decide its time to poop everywhere. Just wait until you are woke up in the middle of the night by the sounds of puke...YUCK!!

Have a great day...
Love, Heather

Holly,
I usually don't leave a comment on pink blogsites, but yours in the only exception...I picked up Ava one morning before work. It was a couple of minutes before I felt something running down my leg! She had a nasty wet daiper and it was all over the shirt (& pants) that I had just ironed. Needless to say, I was late to work that day.
