Halloween

As much as I love a child who questions all the things in life...I got very tired of "Is today Halloween?" so we made a calendar to countdown to Halloween.  Problem solved!

In the spirit of the season we have been busy "decorating" around here.  For the record, I take a child-driven approach to this decorating.  Home and Garden will not be photographing my house anytime soon.

We started with the beautiful fall leaf wreaths (thank you dollar store)

Then we colored some Halloween placemats.  Cade is obsessed with these Dots.  He ends up a dotted mess.

Halloween is not complete without our ghosts.

I have these beauties hanging throughout my living room

Oh and yes, don't forget the kitchen lights need ghosts.  We had a fun game of "where is the ghost hiding" every morning until Cade tore off the ghost's head...shocker!

After ghosts, we moved on to spiders.  Easy to make with some black pipe cleaner.

We hung them on a nice decorative spider web displayed across my hallway wall.

And don't you worry if you run out of black pipe cleaner...these glamorous spiders can come in all colors!

So, we are ready and decorated for Halloween.  Is it Halloween yet??

I know I have said it a lot, but you really are such a good momma. The time you spend with your kids is impressive and makes me smile. It's the quality time like making ghosts and spiders...I just think it's wonderful and they are so lucky to have you as their momma. Hope yall are doing well.
