All it took was about 1 minute of rain today for my kids to throw on their rain boots and head outside in search of puddles to splash in.
Of course, Riley had to change clothes so that her outfit matched her rain boots...even notice the pantyhose. Ha!
The boys weren't too worried about matching their boots, but they were in matching shirts that they insisted on both wearing this morning to MDO.
Hey Look! Sometimes they really do love each other...Ahhhh
Somewhere Cade has picked up the habit of stopping and sitting in the grass every time a car passes. Now, I do realize that this is a wonderful, safe habit...but we live on a semi busy street. It takes forever to make it down to the park!
Since we couldn't find any puddles, we headed down to the creek. First, they had to take in the scenery.
This is what happens when the 2 year old want to climb everywhere the 4 and 6 year old do. I knew it was coming..I had my camera ready...does that make me a bad mom??
We threw rocks into the creek. And I mean ROCKS. They found some huge ones.
At least the huge rocks inspired some teamwork.
This is what happens when your kids wear their boots and mom only wears her flip flops and is not stepping foot into that stinky, algae filled water..
Finally, they decided to cross back over to my side. Then Cade decided to join them. I was very specific that if anyone fell into the deeper part, they were on their own... Ha! Luckily no one fell in.
This child will do anything that his brother and sister do!
We finally found one puddle! And they jumped and jumped until it was no longer a puddle!
We finished off our nature walk at the pond watching the swans. Not a bad day.

Your kids are adorable. You are such a good momma, doing all the fun things with them that kids simply love to do...like jumping in puddles. :) And I have to say, love that R had to change her clothes to make sure her outfit matched head to toe! Precious!
