Somewhere along the way we have developed this Halloween tradition where the kids dress up as ghost and hide and "scare" Justin when he gets home from work. We have been doing it since Riley was little and it is simple, but really fun! I am noting that pillowcases are no longer suitable for my oldest two...next year we will move to sheets!
My three scary ghosts
Looking out the window for Justin
OOOOOOO....so scary!
We then moved on to tick-or-treating. The kids were crazy this year. They would sprint from house to house. At one house Cade managed to fall down three times, each time pulling himself off the ground saying "I have to get more candy" The dedication!!!!

And my pale DJ Lance from Yo Gabba Gabba
After hitting all the houses we gathered around to check out our goodies.
Since October has now passed, the kids and I gathered up all our spiders, ghost and other decorations. They were a little grouchy and driving each other crazy (and me!) so I thought of an idea for our old pumpkins...
Nothing like a good old pumpkin smash to blow off some steam!
Now...time for Thanksgiving crafts!

I am SO doing the pumpkin smash next year! I think it would make me feel so much better. ha!
You have THE BEST ideas!!!! :)
You crack me up. That was hilarious. Pretty sure my boys would be all over the pumpkin throwing. ;) Anyhow, Cade's Yo Gabba Gabba costume cracks me up! And Brooks, Jack would have been all over that costume had he of seen it this year. Maybe next year. Anyhow, your kids are simply precious, and once again, they are so lucky to have you.
