It's Potty Time with Riley

I mentioned before that we have started potty training. Actually, Riley has done great! We have had a few accidents but she really has the hang of it! It was a lot easier than I thought! I did have to make a Walmart run to buy more "nink" panties...I was tired of washing the same pair every night!

Here are some pictures:

She refuses to use anything but the "big" potty! She won't ever wear pull-ups. (I know, I know...her hands are touching the potty. Her tiny booty will fall right in if she doesn't hold herself up and I couldn't hold her because I was taking the picture.---the things you do for a good picture.)

I tried rewarding her with candy but she wasn't interested. Instead we did a sticker chart and that really motivated her the first few days. Now, she doesn't even care to be rewarded! I guess that is a good thing!

After she filled up her chart we got to go to the store and pick out a new toy. She picked out a new Play-doh set. At least I got off cheap! I was afraid she would pick out some expensive toy!

Notice how she put every star sticker in the middle of the square. I didn't do that, it was all her. She is more and more like me everyday. If she would get it off- centered, she would pull it off and do it again until it was perfect!

Have a happy day!

What a doll! I love the potty chart--it's perfect! Believe it or not, her dad was like that when he was her age...the bows on his tennis shoes had to be at the perfect angle. I retied his shoes about a jillion times every morning until he thought they looked "just right". Poor Riley; she doesn't have a chance. hahaha...love ya'll, jojo
