Have you missed us??

Well, we have officially made it to Crosby. The move went well and the kids are getting settled. We won't have Internet for a few more weeks, so not much blogging (or pictures!). We have to make trips to the library to check our email.

Here are a few highlights...

--Riley loves her new house! She loves the swingset outside, but not the mosquitoes! Brooks is adjusting perfectly! He did have a cold so we made a pediatrician visit the 3rd day we were here!!

--Justin's school is only 2 miles from our house! Pretty much everywhere we go, we drive by it. Every time I hear a little "go cougars" from Riley in the back seat. Today I taught her to say "we are in cougar country!" It is too funny.

--So far we have had a deer, some weird lizards, wild cats and a snake in our backyard! Last night I found a mouse in our garage. Just wonderful.

--Justin and his dad got most of the painting done and it looks great.

--We already had a playdate with my sister and her kiddos! I love being so close!!

--We have already eaten at every restaurant in Crosby...didn't take that long!

--Riley had met just about everyone on our street...friendly girl!

--Riley found a new love of ice cream cones with tomatoes on top---gross!!!

--Brooks is sitting up on his own and has started baby food. He gets so excited when he sees that spoon coming! He fusses when I can't feed him fast enough...I guess that is why he weighs 18 pounds! So far his favorite is carrots!

Things are going great! The kids did amazingly well! I am dying to get pictures up on the blog! I am running out of room on my memory card. I love our house! It has alot of the things I wish we would have added at our old house!

That's all for now...hopefully I can get some pictures up soon.

I am so lonely for all of you...no one else plays with me like Riley...and no one smiles at me like Brooks. Hollie...has anything fallen off the cabinets on your head, yet? Send Megan a picture so she can see we followed her pattern! Are you ready for a road trip to Abilene yet? hahaha...love ya'll...JoJo

I talked to the Reeses on Sunday, and it sounds like your house is great. You are so organized and on the ball, I'm sure it looks amazing already! I'm glad you'll get to be closer to family, but hate that you're even farther away now. Not that we really saw you when we were in Fort Worth. That just means you'll really have to call when you're in Abilene!

Hey Hollie,
I got to your blog through Amber Smith's. I noticed that ya'll moved. Lincoln and I are living in Kingwood, which isn't too far away. I got a teaching job for the fall. We are currently living with my parents. Once school gets going, I am planning on starting the house hunt. I just thought I would say "hello."
