Getting Back to the Basics

Okay all my blogger friends...

Now that Riley is sleeping through the night (YEAH!) I don't have to nap when she naps. So, I really need to get back into my Bible study. The problem is that I have always relied on some structure such as BSF to guide my study. Now that I don't have any, I am at a loss. I have never been good about just opening my Bible and reading. I tend to need structure...

Any suggestions? Good studies, good books?

I'm a little later than the rest of the world on this, so you may have already done it, but I'm reading through Purpose-Driven Life right now and studying along with it. Loving it so far. I'm not using an actual study guide, just going to the bible on many of the listed verses and concentrating on those in thought/prayer for the day. The book is designed in short chapters to be read one per day, so it works out great.

Riley's pics are the cutest! Hope you're still sleeping well.

Hey Hollie! I really enjoyed reading "Captivating" by John and Staci Elderidge- I thought it was a great book. I would love to see you guys in March- we've got to meet your adorable Riley!
