Christmas Spirit

This child could not be more excited about Christmas. She is always singing Christmas songs or singing "Happy Birthday" to Jesus (can't forget the real reason, right). She LOVES Christmas lights. I mean LOVES!! It is too funny. She get so excited looking at houses...she squeals and screams!

Here are a few things we have been doing to get us into the "holiday spirit."

We decorated gingerbread men. She did pretty good. Of course, she did it "all herself." I promise I hear that phrase a million times a day.

And of course Brooks is as happy as always. He is not too sure about all this Christmas stuff...he does like to dance to the music.


We bought Riley a little tree for her room. She decorated it "all herself." surprise, surprise. It was too cute. She was humming "deck the halls" the entire time. Nice pose...


We put up our Christmas tree. Brooks was not a big fan of the prickly branches.


Once again...nice pose --where is she getting this? I think this should be called the "sitting on the potty" pose.


Our favorite around the house now is Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. So, we found a Mickey Mouse blow up for our yard. Both kiddos love it!


And yes, for all those wondering...she is wearing a tutu over her pants! Don't forget the sparkly pink shoes.


When we put it up, Brooks just stared at it... He was mesmerized, but not too much..he still has good ball control (coach's son.)





So now the countdown begins until Santa comes...

Riley's top two requests are a baby doll and a kitchen. Brooks....not sure...he probably will be happy with more balls to roll around.
