I was lucky enough (thanks to my parents) to spend the day at the mall all by myself! It was great. My focus was to find some new clothes! I did make a few observations along the way...

1. If I were smart enough, I would write down where I parked. It seems like I am always on my cell phone when I come in the mall, so when I leave I have no memory of where my car is.

2. I wish I had a big sign to carry that said "No...I don't want any new cell service, soap, my hair brushed, my face washed, lotion rubbed on my hands, perfume, or teriyaki chicken." That would make walking through the mall so much more pleasant and I wouldn't have to focus so hard on not making eye contact with all these vendors.

3. Why in the department store must they separate all clothing by designer. It would be much more efficient if they just put all the shirts together and all the shorts together and so on...

4. Have they ever been in the dressing room? They need to invest in some soft lighting that makes you look good. Not that horrible fluorescent lighting that shows every bump and dip in your body!

5. What man made the "only 6 garments in the dressing room" rule. Of course, no saleslady is ever there waiting to hand you your six new items...you have to put all your clothes back on, tromp to the front of the dressing room, and switch them out yourself.

6. Have you seen the shorts out there lately. Given, I have not been much into fashion lately due to pregnancy or post pregnancy, but my goodness! Leave something up to the imagination! There are some short shorts!!!!

7. I was so happy that the shirts are no longer "baby dolls." Man, I spent enough of my pregnant life in that style. The last thing I want to do now is look the least bit pregnant!

The end.

Some very valid comments there, missy. I am with you on all of them. Especially, the one, "Where did I park the car?" I haven't worried about the short shorts in awhile. I am just hoping capris stay around for a little while longer. Hope your day was fun!

So true. So true. That's when Riley comes in handy. I am sure she could have told you where you parked!! So, how was it to try on clothes without someone opening the door for all the world to see while you are in your skimpies??!
