We did it! We walked the five miles for March of Dimes. It was fun and a great experience. We had a ton of family there for support.
Here is our group. Ash got these great shirts printed up so we could all match and be identified with "Team Brock and Brody."
Originally, I was planning on walking alone..ha ha. At the last minute Riley joined me. Here is a picture story of our five miles...
Mile one...she sat nice and content in her stroller.
Mile two...I carried her (she was passed around a little)
Mile 3 to 5. She WALKED! I kid you not...this girl can go! She not only walked, she skipped, hopped and ran and managed to sing almost the entire time. Man, if only I had half that energy!

Riley loves her "big Macy." (Not to be confused with Heidi's girl, "little Macy."
Justin and Brooks met us at the finish line. Good decision! I couldn't imagine carrying that chunky monkey around for five miles! (Brooks, not Justin)
Needless to say, my kiddos were tired!!!
I even came home and crashed on the couch. Thank goodness no one got a picture of that!

We had so much fun! I was pumped, weren't you? That is until you met your couch. I bet next year we are awesome and double in size. Not body size. I hope to keep up the walking of course it won't be as much fun without Riley.
Riley was great entertainment. I wish I had her energy. When the picture of her running was taken....everytime we screamed "GO RILEY" she ran faster. It was so funny. I think she should be in Bejing in the Olympics this summer. ha ha!

I love it! We did that walk last year and loved every moment of it. Would have done it again if it weren't for the whole pesky bedrest thing. We sure miss you guys!

We had so much fun! Macy loves her Riley, too! I was so impressed with Riley's running. She needs to do the H-town half marathon next year! HA!
I can't wait until next year.
It's reassurring to know Riley does run out of steam! I need to have me some of that energy! We had lots of fun walking with you! Great pictures as always! Love ya!
