Makeover

Ever since we looked at houses Riley has been convinced she wanted a black and white room. I don't remember the specific room we saw, but apparently the walls were even black and white. After convincing her that black and white walls were not a good idea, I gave in to the rest of the black and white theme. This weekend she went to Tennessee with my parents so while she was away we decorated her room.

I think she liked it!

Yes, she definitely liked it!

Testing out the chalkboard

Here is the finished product...

One major request was flowers on the wall

We even put crystals in the middle. She really thought that was great!

She definitely needs a place for those tutus.

I had a little extra fabric left...

In case she forgets her name ha!

It was more pink that I ever thought I would see in my life, but the look on her face made it all worth it.

Now, you are probably wondering how I managed to do all this with a crazy two year old running around...Easy solution!

I taped him to the door.

When that didn't work, I taped him to the floor! Ha

Somehow he always managed to get away...maybe next time I need stronger tape.

The room looks great! I would have loved to be there to see her face!! And it looks like Brooks had a lot of fun, too. Why buy toys when you have masking tape?? Love y'all!!

Loving the room! I think Neena needs a black and white room too. And that Brooks....he is a mess. You guys did a great job. We surprised Heather one year for her birthday by redoing her room. The looks on their faces are priceless!
