Road Trip to Abilene

Last Wednesday I packed up the kids and headed to Abilene to see JoJo and Pops. The first few hours of the trip went great...and then it was a little down hill from there.

Riley kept thinking she was going to throw up so she rode with her face in a plastic bag...She kept saying "my tummy hurts for JoJo" "I need JoJo" and as soon as we got to Abilene, she perked up and felt fine!


Brooks had his one year shots the day before, so he was a little grumpy...


Thank goodness for Justin's Aunt Lynn! We picked her up in Smithville. She was a lifesaver! I don't think I would have made it the last 4 hours without her!


Brooks got to see his first snowfall in Abilene. He wasn't too sure about it. It was pretty cold!


Poor baby, he looks so stressed out!


Of course Riley loved it!




Jo Jo brought home lots of fun things from her school. Riley loved watercolors!


Even Brooks got to paint a little!


More fun toys..


And a giant pickle!


We got in some good play time with Pops!


And even got in a short, but good visit with Memom and Daddad.



And a trip is never complete without some loving from our Aunt Jor!


It was a great week and we loved every minute of it.

The ride home was much better!
I got tired of driving so I gave Brooks a chance!
