Spring Break and Easter Part 1
For Spring Break we headed to Nashville to visit my sister. It is the first time we have seen them since the move. It was also the first time my kiddos have been on a plane. Everything went pretty well...
Getting on the plane...I hope my children look back one day and realize that they did have a mom even though there are no photos to prove it!

Riley was pumped! She was more excited that she got to have a coke! The few weeks before we left she had started saying she didn't want to get on the plane. I was so worried she would have a huge meltdown I tried to talk it up with special prizes...one of them being a coke.

Brooks got his chance to check out the view.

Little reading material.

Brooks was out before we even took off. He woke up on our way down.

The entire flight was pretty uneventful until the landing. We had to land in a storm with made it really BUMPY! We had to make two approaches before we landed. Poor Riley was dry heaving into the barf bag...I would have taken a picture but I was too busy trying to keep Brooks from flying out of my lap with all the turbulence.

Oh wow. Just reading about little Riley dry heaving made me a little bit sick! Yikes! That's miserable... glad you guys made it ok!
I think Riley would have preferred a Walmart bag instead of a barf bag. Poor baby! Was it the plane ride being bumpy that made her queasy? Anyway....glad you got to spend some great times with your sister. Hope to see you all soon. Love you.
I wish I could have been on the plane to "see" all the excitement! I have to say that I was impressed that Riley was in jeans and not her pink dress and pink sparkle shoes. How did you manage that? Give the kids a kiss for us...we love y'all bunches...jojo
What an adventure! Riley cracks me up and it looks like Brooks will be equally entertaining! Love keeping up with yall through your blog!
What an exciting trip for Riley. She will be ready for another soon--or maybe she wont. We are glad for you to be home. Wish we could have seen Riley in her Easter dress. She must have been a doll.
hope to see you 'ere long. love to all. Nana
Poor Riley! I admit, I did laugh though.
Your stories are great and you need to turn your blog into a little book to always look back on!
love you guys!
